I just want a home

Is that too much to ask for?? A house... my house... a place of my very own?!

I hate this!! I wish someone would just tell us what to do. Sometimes I wish I was a kid again... all the decisions made for me. AWWW

I just don't know what is best for us. Should we buy a house... build a new house... buy a pre-fab house?!

Houses are now are selling double over their evulation. A house worth 80K is being sold for 160K. You can't help but think you are getting screwed over if you pay that price. Especially since you are paying more than what it's worth. PLUS you have renovations to do on the house.

You can build a house... however there's so many things to think about... well.. fondation..septic system....land... Then do you find a contractor to build you a home or do you buy yourself a pre-fabricated house.

I'm slowly leaning towards getting a pre-fabricated house. At least your house is worth what you pay for it. If you pay 150k... well your house is worth it. Another reason I think pre-fab is better than building from scratch... is that you have no surprise bills at the end. We could do the finishes on the house ourselves. Have them build the rough of the house.. and we could finish it off ourselves.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! Can someone decide for me please?!?!?!?!
